The tournament was originally planned to go ahead in June last year, but due to the coronavirus pandemic the event had to be rescheduled. As Queen cited, the show must go on, and it does, with 11 different countries hosting this year’s tournament.

There will be plenty of interest around the host nations, with England facing Croatia and Scotland at Wembley Stadium in the group stages, and Hungary facing World Champions France at the Puskás Aréna in Budapest.

Who are the tournament favourites?

Gareth Southgate’s England will be looking to leverage the home support as they will be playing all their three group games at Wembley. World Champions and tournament favourites France have looked strong in the lead up and will be buoyed by the return of Karim Benzema to the squad.

Who do you think will lift the trophy come July 11? Can England finally bring football home? Will France be lifting another trophy? Or can Scotland pull off a huge upset?

We cover all this and more in our EURO 2020 app.
