Alfred has more than 25 years of industry experience in the financial and information technology markets. He is currently the Managing Director, Data & Analytics, Asia Pacific, LSEG.
Alfred has been a strong advocate of driving innovation together with customers and partners in Asia, which underpins Refinitiv’s growth strategies. The Innovation Lab in Singapore, launched in collaboration with the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB), as well as a partnership with the Singapore FinTech Association, provide important platforms to work alongside regulators, financial institutions, local universities and startups to develop and leverage emerging technologies aimed at solving real life industry problems, such as financial crime.
Alfred held various senior management positions before joining Refinitiv, including the role of Managing Director at MCM (now called INFORMA) for Asia ex-Japan, and General Manager at Dow Jones Telerate Singapore.
Alfred holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the National University of Singapore, and he is married with two children.
